Pakistan is a major importer of secondhand clothing and shoes from all over the world, with Europe coming in second and Germany leading the exporters in Europe.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, imports of used apparel totaled 340,812 tonnes worth $149 million in the July-April fiscal year, down from 381,982 tonnes worth $146 million the previous fiscal year. In 10MFY20, the average per tonne price increased to $438, up from $383 in the previous year’s similar period.
